I’ve begun the packing process and while I swear every time I travel I will take less I find my suitcase bulging with every possible thing I could possibly need, and likely some things I won’t. Since I will be gone for 45 days, there’s no small 3 oz containers of shampoo for me, and my vitamins alone must weigh a pound. And I’ve stocked up on blister-care because the thing I’m most nervous about is my feet! With new insoles for my hikers and socks that wick, I will hopefully return with everything intact but with a desperate need for a pedicure.
I’m not questioning why I’m off on this adventure, but I will admit to a bit of trepidation, and I’m now anxious to get walking. The first day is Tuesday, September 9, with a 25km “walk” over the Pyrenees to Roncevalles, Spain. More to come..
